Intraocular implants
In order to stop wearing glasses, one can either resort to laser eye surgery (laser refractive surgery) or to intraocular implants.
Intraocular implants are indicated in different situations than laser surgery. Multifocal implants allow presbyopia to be treated at the same time as distance optical defects, while phakic implants (ICL) allow higher degrees of myopia than the laser limit to be treated.
